Start by weighing out your water phase ingredients into a glass beaker.
In a separate glass beaker weigh out your oil phase and cover with tin foil.
Before covering your water phase with tin foil, weigh the glass beaker and ingredients. Write down the weight.
In a double boiler, heat your oil and water phases to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. Hold it there for 5 minutes.
Reweigh your water phase and replace the evaporated water with distilled water. It should be the same temperature as your water phase.
Pour the water phase into the oil phase and mix with a coffee frother or immersion blender. Mix for 5 minutes.
Continue to mix for 30 seconds every 5 minutes until the mixture is down to room temperature.
Next, weigh out your cool-down phase into the mixture. Mix.
Check and adjust your pH.
Pour into your container.
Enjoy!
